Kevin Nolan is in Mid-Season Blooper Form

By: Bob | July 13th, 2007

Bolton are preparing for the upcoming English Premier League by taking part in the Peace Cup in South Korea. As a gesture of goodwill towards the hosts Kevin Nolan decided to do the impossible and not score from about .0001 centimeters in front of the goal. Nolan’s generosity was offset by his teammate Nicky Hunt’s less than peaceful behavior. Oh the irony. I believe that any time a competition involves the word ‘peace’ there is a FIFA mandate that requires something violent to take place.

Oh, be fair. He was at least a half a centimeter from goal. An open goal. Wow. Just wow. Nice to see a blooper that doesn't involve a goalkeeper though - I think we're really growing as a site now that we can dissect the mistakes of strikers as well.
