League Bans Kits Sponsored by The Referee’s a Wanker

It is a scientific fact that all referees are wankers. That has been proven time and time again at football grounds around the world with millions, perhaps even billions, singing this sentiment over the years. All of this makes it hard to understand why an amateur team in England is not allowed to display this fact on their jerseys.
Stambridge United, a team from Essex that competes in the always entertaining Baliston Essex Olympian League, has been told that they need to stop wearing kits that bear the slogan “The Referee’s a Wanker.”
The expression, while universally accepted as a fact, happens to also be the title of a new book by the author Chris Turner, who forked over decent money for the club to advertise his words of wisdom.
League officials aren’t laughing or lining up to buy Mr. Turner’s book. They have banned the shirts and have required the team to purchase new uniforms, proving that referees are not the only ones who can be wankers.
