Lending new meaning to the term ‘ball hog’

Those of you who are avid fans of the Pig Olympics are probably used to seeing images like this one, but this was the first time I have been exposed to the growing sport of Pigball. The contestants in this event are bred and raised to play the game, which has rules similar to footie. The pigs are not motivated by the love of game or the prospects of a fat contract with a big name club, however, but rather by the sweet substance that is rubbed on the ball before the match. There is no truth to the rumor that Ronaldo will be playing at the next Pig Olympics.
