Let’s Take a Peek at a Premiership Player’s Payslip
By: Bob | October 30th, 2007
I always assumed that payday for an English Premier League player involved the club sending over an armored vehicle filled to the brim with gold. Alas, the guys who get paid gobs of money to kick a ball for a living receive the same kind of paystubs that working stiffs like you and I do. Chicken Dinner has gotten their hands on what they say is the payslip (big version) of a Liverpool player (John Arne Riise?), who is fortunate to not have any student loans, but does take a bit of a hit by having to pay for his meals each week. How anyone gets by on 84,413 Pounds a week is beyond me. I call that a night out at the pub.

yeah but it’s actually 139,643k. That has to be Gerrard. I like the appearance fee and the Champions League Salary Increase.
