Lionel Messi Scores a Maradona Goal

Watching an Argentine weave past five defenders and a keeper seems familiar enough, doesn’t it? That is Barcelona’s Lionel Messi working the magic on Wednesday against Getafe in the Copa Del Ray. That is nothing short of brilliant. It reminds me of playing a video game where my team is on fast mode and the opponents are on quicksand mode. I imagine we will be seeing this goal replayed a lot in the future. It is wonderful to see a player as hyped and as talented as Messi reaching his potential.

And his second was an extremely well-taken goal into the top corner. Nobody's ever been able to take the ball off him, and this season he's really improved his finishing. If he can avoid getting killed by bigger defenders he'll be in the best player in the world discussion for the next decade.
