You have the best league in the world and all the pedigree you could ask for, but your super stars just can't put it all together. I love J. Cole, J. Young talent has been getting 'swooped up' by big clubs for decades, the only difference is that nowadays the talent is getting spotted at earlier stages in their careers because of greater scouting efforts. As for the new Fred...I don't know about that I would've said more along the lines of the new Alex or Kaka if you're talking Portuguese triumverate. And they don't get swooped up, they play where they want to play. Just look at Cashley Cole or John Obi Mikel. Chelsea can do whatever they please, we’ve locked up the future of football.
