Nani and Ronaldo will own the wings in the EPL by the second half of the 2007/2008 season. Ronaldo is already there. I'll give Nani half a season to get used to the thugs in the EPL. :-)

England looked sorry against Brazil today. You guys always have to put your hopes on one long shot. WC 2006, Rooney - Euro 2006, Beckham the savior. It takes a team to win!

Don't get me wrong. You have the best league in the world and all the pedigree you could ask for, but your super stars just can't put it all together. I love J. Cole, J. Terry and Lampard, and others but damn it if they don't look sorry when they play for England.

In the picture you see Nani taking a dramamtic dive to win a penalty against Boavista. Get used to the yellows for "simulation" Utd fans, especially when these two and Pretty Cris get on the pitch together.

Chelsea can do whatever they please, we've locked up the future of football. Young talent has been getting 'swooped up' by big clubs for decades, the only difference is that nowadays the talent is getting spotted at earlier stages in their careers because of greater scouting efforts. As for the new Fred...I don't know about that I would've said more along the lines of the new Alex or Kaka if you're talking Portuguese triumverate. And they don't get swooped up, they play where they want to play. Just look at Cashley Cole or John Obi Mikel.

Is this the point in time when we are all supposed to complain about big clubs swooping up all the talent?

Why do I have Blur's 'Song 2' in my head right now? Woo Hoo! Prediction - by this time next week, not to be outdone by United, Chelsea will have paid 40 million for Tevez.
