Marcelo’s Brain Fart Kills Madrid, Aids Wikipedia.

By: chris | December 8th, 2008

Bad day for Marcelo and Real Madrid yesterday. Los blancos looked like a poor man’s Castilla in the first half, going down 3-1 at home, before Bernd Schuster’s fiery mustache and a Dutch-for-Dutch substitution got the game to 3-3. Arjen Robben tried to kick a ball and was sent off, which took a Madrid seemingly primed for a winner and made them into a Madrid primed to concede a loser because they were still going for the winner with no regard for women or children. Enter Marcelo, who decided that instead of getting back for a free kick he’d stay back to sign autographs, hanging Fabio Cannavaro out to dry. 4-3 Sevilla, of course, which has not made Madridistas happy. So they go where all pissed off fans go: Wikipedia.

You know – strong language aside – Wiki’s fact checkers just might leave this one in there.

Of course, this is a fate much more readily welcomed than the one which consumed Emmanuel Eboue on Saturday.

Haha…after the New Orleans Saints kicker (who’s from Argentina) missed a crucial field goal (long kick between posts) his wikipedia bio showed as. “Martin Gramatica is Spanish for failure.”
