Here’s some news to help Sevilla coach Juande Ramos feel better after being knocked out by a bottle thrown from the stands earlier this week. His club is the best in the world. That is true if you believe the latest Club World Rankings released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. Rankings of any kind are always good for shits and giggles and the IFFHS’ are no exception.
Sevilla tops the list despite being two points behind Barcelona in the La Liga table heading into the clash between the two teams Saturday. At the bottom of the list is the Brazilian club Fortaleza Esporte Clube who are ranked in the same position as England’s Reading, a mere 164 places below mighty Moldovan power FC Zimbru Chisinau.
