Milan Baros has Record Setting Speed

By: Bob | November 2nd, 2007

milan-baros-speeding.jpgMilan Baros hasn’t been on the pitch recently because on an injury, but that doesn’t mean the Lyon forward hasn’t been keeping himself busy. He’s been involved in a political row in his native Czech Republic and he has gone out an earned a dubious driving record. Baros was clocked driving 168 mph (271 kph) in France yesterday, shattering the old speeding record of 248 kph held by a motorcyclist. Who knew that speeding was even a competition? Certainly not Fabien Barthez because if he did he would be the record holder. For his efforts, Baros could lose his license for three years, which kind of sucks when you own a Ferrari. Not that I know anything about that.
