MLS Might Need to Test for Performance Enhancing Underwear
By: Bob | March 6th, 2007David Beckham might not be the only foreign soccer player celebrity spokesperson to be coming to America. There are reports that DC United are trying to land the Brazilian Fred. No, not the Fred who plays for Lyon but rather the other Fred. The one who scores goals for the Melbourne Victory in Australia’s A-League. As the Cupcakes gang points out, Fred has gained some fame for his performance enhancing underwear, which can be seen in the commercial above. Is MLS big enough for another talented actor?

Okay, seriously, I don’t GET this video clip. Am I just too dense? Too American? Or too female? What kind of performance are we supposed to be enhancing here? And how does a urine test fit into all of this?
Or is it just kind of one of those Impressionist-types of humor, where you can’t examine it too closely or you won’t see the picture?
My brain is starting to hurt.

Oh, and P.S. My Lyon team could have used some performance-enhancing underwear today.

Hey Laurie,
He is a footballer getting drug tested in the change rooms of his club Melbourne Victory. It is a commercial for mitchdowd underpants and they are saying that if you were these underpants you are going to get better results by wearing these underpants. His drug test is ok and his team mates threw him a pair of socks so he can fit down his new underpants so he can have a bigger package. I think citizens of the US of A need to think more latterally!!Posted from
