"...Toronto FC passed in its last three rounds. Interesting choice."

I literally burst out laughing when I read that! What is going on in the heads of our neighbors to the north? Waiting til the 3rd round of the SuperDraft to grab a forward... not taking a gamble with house money in the SuppleDraft (can somebody besides me start using this name?)...

Take a look at this article: http://web.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20071126&content_id=130863&vkey=news_t280&fext=.jsp&team=t280
"WHAT AREA OF THE TEAM NEEDS THE MOST IMPROVEMENT?
When a team scores an MLS-record low 25 goals and goes a league-record 824 consecutive minutes without a tally, stepping up the attack is the top offseason priority. Johnston said he wants to sign at least two more forwards to join Jeff Cunningham and Danny Dichio on the strike force. The search has already begun, as Serbian international Savo Milosevic (a veteran of the English, Italian and Spanish top leagues) trained with the club in late October."

HELLO, JOHNSTON, YOU COULD TRY THE DRAFT TOO. The Canadian Dollar clearly isn't the only thing Loonie in Toronto.

Another Creighton alumn, Danny Minutillo, got invited to Quakes' training camp. I don't know if he was initially part of the draft and just didn't get picked or what (too many names to keep track!).
