I know they were literally young but the second and third goal were misreads. And they weren’t just misread, they were almost completely ignored. You get one. This was the 4th or 5th in 2 games. We do want more goals but LA is gonna have to improve their D just to make Beckham and Landycakes look better. People are gonna start saying that Beckham’s a waste cause LA loses all the time. Improve the team and it’s like tricking the idiot Americans into thinking Beckham is God. Right now he’s like Jesus status. Still searching for a posse.

Shane, for what it’s worth, LA’s backline WERE children. Three of the four were developmental players, in only because of injury (or, in the case of Roberts, because of the Harmse red card.)

Ok, first, Al Michaels needs to shut up. Watch a game from the UK, less is better. This is not the NFL or MLB where in a 2 1/2 hour game theres maybe 3 minutes total of sports played and the rest are commercials and John Madden talking out of his ass.
Second, LA’s Defense played like children. In fact i watched an U5yr game and i think i’ll let LA know theres a few starters for this season out there.
Third, back to Michaels. DB is not Superman in the sense that he’s an Iron Man or a Ronaldinho. Did he watch the world cup when Becks was puking his lungs out? The man knows less about sports than the before mentioned 5 year olds.
Fourth, I don’t think there should be “friendlies” during the season. Players get paid LOTS of money to play for their club and only play for pride for their countries. Money is more important than the pride. Wait till summer and run yer asses off for them but not while the team that signs your paychecks needs you fit.

This game was just heartbreaking. In the 11 years that I have been a fan of this team, I haven’t felt this depressed after a game. We are definitely having our worse season yet and I can’t help but think that our dear GM made some costly mistakes with all the changes in the roster. Our team has a few good players and a bunch of average, non-inspired boys.
