Momo Sissoko: You, Sir, Are An Idiot

By: chris | February 24th, 2008

(It’s at the 1:00m mark. If I find a better video I’ll put it up.)

Feel free to assess how large the brain fart was that allowed Momo Sissoko to think in the 93rd minute of a tie game that this was a good idea. Liverpool fans must be bowing down to thank the footy gods for taking him away. Juventus fans? Not so much.

Mr. Miagi would be proud of Sissoko. Not even Daniel-san could match that flying crane kick!

Repeat after me Momo: Wax on. Wax off.

I’ll just enjoy the supreme athleticism to actually attempt that in the first place. Not wise, but bloody hell he got up there.

I think Momo will improve in the future for Juve, however, that attempt to clear the ball was stupid. If he had just stayed put and head the ball either back to the keeper, behind, or something Juve would have gotten the point. In addition, I don’t think Pallidino is ready to start of play a full 90 mins. He was able to connect on some cheeky passes, esp with Alex, but never really got into the game, I don’t even remember if he had a shot on goal. I’m already looking to the summer transfer window for some quality and depth for the Old Lady.
