Both seem to be one hit wonders in thier own way. Arshavin had a great tourney and a great Uefa cup, but that was only this year. Ade had a great year but again… it was only one year. I say both should stay at thier clubs and prove themselves for another year

As of right now, theyre just one hit wonders. No one knows if they’ll be able to repeat what they did next year

Arshavin had bursts of greatness during the Euros. The first time I saw him I said to myself.
Barca need to get this young amazing Russian player.
Then I found out that he is 27.
Shocker!
I still want him though. He is a risk, but the payoff can be massive. And how bad can Adebayore be? I don’t want him to go to Barca but let him go to Milan (mostly so Milan don’t chase Ronaldinho anymore)

Adebayor is overpriced just so milan and barca piss off thats all

arshavin is not overpriced that player is probably the most intelligent player ive ever seen probably in the world

is level of technical ability is FARRRRRR beyond the Premier League without a doubt

you say he plays “well” in his league thats a incorrect statement he RUNS his league

and whats all this hype about his one below par performance at Euro 2008 like players dont have bad games

the England team comes to mind with all there losses in the qualifiers yet gerrard lampard rooney their taltent doesnt get questioned

i think £20m is a decent price for what arshavin does maybe 24 is alot cos of the standard of the league
but when this player plays well and is of form he is amazing

adebayor is not week in week out amazing he is a good finisher or arsenal attacks trhats it

i dont think he would do well in another more difficult league especially if his team arent performing well

Well, Arsenal place that price on Ade is because they dont want him to leave, sorta make him too expensive for other to even think….

i’m a massive arshavin fan though his performance against spain leaves a few questions. i would pay round 20 mil (pounds) for him tho. adebayor tho is a bit overrated imho. not fantastically skillful and his return was on the back of one the best attacks in the world. perhaps similar to pippo at milan…?

Adebayor is overpriced considering that hes only scored 30 goals for one season. however, he is proven in a top league and against the best and most organised defences in the world. arshavin is a rip off. a player who plays a few good games for his country in the euros, and whom performs well in the russian league… how does that denote a £25m player. im an arsenal fan and i hope we get rid of adebayor and dont buy arshavin. a 27 year old whos never played regular top flight football for 25m… your having a laugh. id think 13-15m to be a fair price.
