Move Over Zlatan? Fausto Rossini With a Beauty of a Backheel Volley

By: Daryl | October 14th, 2008

Livorno claimed a 5-2 win over Frosinone this weekend, with striker Fausto Rossini scoring this incredible backheel.

Rossini met a corner kick on the volley (impressive) with his back to goal (very impressive) and with a backheel (ridiculously impressive.)

Only question now: Is this goal better than Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s similar recent effort?

Rossini must have wathced the Ibrahimovic video and then wanted to do it himself.

Zlatan was challenged by a defender, which made his degree of difficulty higher. This goal is probably prettier because Rossini had time to set it up and he executed it perfectly. Both guys had an idea in mind (in my opinion) and executed it, but I'd say that while Zlatan's was harder, I like Rossini's better.

I think Zlatan´s goal is better. Don´t get me wrong both are unbelievable but I like the way Zlatan reaches for his shot.
