Nasri Transfer Saga Finally Over

By: chris | July 11th, 2008

The transfer has been done and undone so many times it’s impossible to count, and though it always looked inevitable, it has to be a sigh of relief for all parties involved. Samir Nasri, the real next Zidane, was stolen by Arsenal for the measly sum of €14m. His past season marked by illness and injury contributed to the plummet in price, but there is a solid chance he turns out to be the best buy of the 2008 mercato in five years. Right in time for Arsenal to sell him.

With Cesc and Nasri, Arsenal will surely test the theory whether or not pretty football can win trophies.

  • It's £11m or thereabouts.
  • (Isn't the price a reported €11m? OM won't be too sad because they have Ben Arfa now.)
