Nike “Take it to the Next Level”

nikeadvert.JPGNike’s latest commercial is definitely one of the most creative football adverts I’ve ever seen. It’s directed by Guy Ritchie, the director of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and Revolver. You may know him as the husband of Madonna.

“Take it to the Next Level” is scheduled to debut on ITV right before the Manchester United-Barcelona match next Tuesday, and it features a star-studded cast, including some guys you may have heard of – Arsene Wenger, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Cesc Fabregas, just to name a few.

The video follows a teenager’s rise from a youth squad to eventual stardom with Arsenal and Holland. Using advanced technology, the commercial allows viewers to feel like they’re involved in all the action, such as scoring the goals, making out with random girls, being pushed around by Ronaldo and Materazzi, and even barfing behind some bleachers. Oh, and I can’t forget getting smooched by Cesc.

Since the commercial has yet to air, it’s not on Youtube yet. However, my favorite tabloid, The Sun, managed to get an exclusive copy, so you can watch it here.
