Patrice Evra & Nike Go Retro

[France WCB]

I think we’ve decided Nike are currently reigning supreme in the world of football advertisements – at least those which don’t involve Luis Fabiano and a bee suit. They’re also testing the bounds of conventional advertisement, as a bunch of naked Germans will tell you. Not wanting to fall behind, they’ve continued their dive into the depths of creativity with a look back into the lineage Patrice Evra’s career through the lens of an old school – we’re talking not far beyond Pong – video game which is magically playing in his chest. And with this, we officially doff our cap to Nike, the current kings of football advertisements.

Now if you want something truly off the wall, head to the France WCB for a love song penned for Raymond Domenech. By a woman. Seriously.
