Pele Throws Ronaldo & Robinho Firmly Under The Bus

More often than not, I want nothing more than for ex-legends to shut the fuck up and fade off into bolivian. Pele and Maradona are two prime examples. Diego, it seems, will be bombarding us with his self-promoting idiocy for some time.

Pele’s sort of pulled the reigns back a bit, but he unleashed a bombshell in Brazil today by throwing Ronaldo and Robinho to the wolves by telling the press they took drugs. His bad.

The Pure One’s son Edinho has drummed up some controversy by admitting a cocaine addiction and Pele was peppered on the subject in a related court case, and this is what came out:

“Most journalists speak of drugs in football, but in fact there are only a few cases. It is unfair that only football is spoken of because of one or two cases, like Ronaldo and Robinho, who has that problem. Kaka is an example of a great role model, and beside him there are others like Platini, Beckenbauer and many others. There are a lot of good people and it is unfair to focus on an isolated case.”

Of all the Brazilian players to escape this PR guillotine…how did Adriano do it? Seriously? And didn’t Beckenbauer knock up a Bayern employee while married to another woman? (No, it wasn’t Uli.) Oh, right…this is Pele.

Ronaldo comes as no surprise as TrannyGate previously provided accusations that Ronaldo had attempted to buy drugs on top of dirty man sex. So the clouds were already circling.

Robinho? Not really sure. Not exactly the squeakiest clean of footballers – 40 condoms, nuff’ said – so I guess no big shock here, either. (Provided true, of course.)

All this stuff will cause a big circus in Brazil and perhaps abroad, with plenty of denials to be made, but I just want the answer to one question…

Who’s going to have the balls to sue the G.O.A.T. for defamation?
