Pep Guardiola is…The Maestro.
By: chris | August 18th, 2009Barcelona spent last year performing a masterpiece of orchestral harmony; a symphony which would have even the likes of Beethoven blushing. Much of this was down to having some half-decent players, with Xavi & Iniesta driving the team forward and Lionel Messi often providing the jaw-dropping solo.
But in the background it was the young virtuoso Pep Guardiola conducting this masterpiece, which has inspired what can only the most appropriate YouTube video in history (if all too brief).
And yes, Pep must now be referred to as The Maestro (or the Catalan equivalent) at all times.
