And is anybody else quietly thrilled at the thought of Ronaldinho regaining his fitness and becoming the player he used to be, all while sticking it to Barça at the same time?

ME too! I used to like Barcelona, but common, this team is so ungrateful. I'm not saying Ronaldinho was right, but he gave them titles and amazing and beatiful goals. And lately people were treating like a dirt bag. But this is not the first time. Rivaldo also gave this team a lot, and yet, in the end, after he gave everything he had, they kicked his ass out of the team with no dignity. I've been reading some spanish news and they said awful things about Ronaldinho. It's true he wasn't in his best fit lately, but people are ungrateful with this guy. Let's not forget about Deco and Etoo too.

I think Ronaldinho will be back in his old ways. He wants it. It's a different environment now, he has a lot to proof. A change will do him good.

I'm still convinced when focused and fit, dinho is the best player in the world...and he still can be.. if nothing else I expect him to use his messy break-up with barca as motivation to show the haters he still got it.. sorta like when you start dating someone who is so-so looking, lacks a little self-confidence (barca pre-ronny)..then you come in and turn them for the better, add a little style and fun to them, and then a couple years later they end up dumping your ass the second you put on a little weight and start getting comfortable!!!

... oh, uh..um.. yea.. i didnt mean to type that all out.. sarah p. i still thinking your a cunt if you're read this...

but the important thing here, ronny guacho I still got faith in you...

Not just you Laurie -- I don't offer any excuses for Dinho, I'm Brazilian, support my national team and have been furious with Dinho's indiscipline and complacency. But from everything I've seen and read on Brazilian news it really looks like he's desperate to play for the NT at the Olympics and that he wants to get back to his best. I've been desperate to see the Dinho back to his best -- he's only 28 after all.

It would be fascinating to see him go to Milan -- if he does, then that club's fast becoming Brazil's HQ in Europe (Pato, Mancini, Kaka -- Ronaldo and Cafu are still on the books, I think). Will defnitely watch every Milan game I can if he goes (I do already, I like Milan, but this will give me even more incentive).

Also, I do have an ulterior motive for wanting Milan to get Dinho: it would mean that they give up on Adebayor. I'm a gooner and it would make me laugh to see that he's not first choice, his ego would go down a peg.

A big resounding "ME!" to that one. I'm impressed with his determination, and I really hope that if his deal to Milan (finally, finally, FINALLY) takes place, he'll flourish.

He may be a bit past his best, but I mean, he just <em>destroyed</em> that cone. The guy in the background is even applauding...he's like, "<em>That cone didn't stand a chance.</em>"

Dinho has given barca its golden age, some forget about that. Currently the brazilian needs to get motivated since he's won it all, same happened with Ronaldo in his days as well. Respect to one of the modern pioneers of this sport.
