Photo of the Day: Frolicking Across the Field…Together

By: Laurie | July 30th, 2008

Oh, the happy preseason. A time for fun. A time for laughter. A time for sunshine.

A time for silly drills where you skip across the field, holding hands with your teammates, grinning self-consciously as you think:

Oh, bollocks. I can hear the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ jokes already.”

(Thanks, Kickette!)

that’s a common warmup, where you play tag, and if you get tagged you join hands with whoever is it. The game usually starts with 2 people as “it” and they compete to get the biggest link.
