Photo of the Day: Slipping and Sliding to Victory

The Offside is now covering Women’s Soccer! We now have a WPS blog and are just waiting for info about the teams. In the meantime, Melissa will be covering all topics dealing with the women’s game, including national team news like this.

This is US Women’s NT player Natasha Kai sliding past Australia’s goal during last weekend’s US-Australia friendly. The US won the game 3-2 on a stoppage time goal by Carli Lloyd after they gave away goals in the 86th and 88th minute.

They won again last night, also against Australia, and also with a stoppage time goal, this one by Angela Hucles. Final score was an amazing 5-4.
