Both leagues will have me snoozing. The EPL especially – nothing ever changes, it’s the same four teams taking turns for what seems like forever.

Italy has six – maybe seven – combinations of teams that could make the top four. Easy decision.

Because it’s preseason. The only way to really compare all those sides is during the Champions League and Europa League. Arsenal were in the semis last season, don’t know what more you want to prove that they’re quality.

I don’t get how the EPL supposedly has more competition considering Arsenal is selling off half their squad and just lost to a much better Valencia. Man City has proven nothing yet and Liverpool’s Spanish speaking players not named Fernando Torres have been begging for transfers to Spain, with two of them already sold to Madrid, with their big signing a major question mark considering his fragility. Atleti and Valencia have both already beat English sides not named Chelsea or Man Utd, while Villarreal convincingly beat Juventus. While Barcelona and Real Madrid appear unstoppable when it comes for the title race, there are 6 quality sides in La Liga fighting at the top, while the EPL has 5 at max, and I don’t see how Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City have proven anything that shows they are more competitive than the likes of Atleti, Valencia, etc in Spain or Fiorentina, Napoli, Genoa, etc in Italy.

Arshavin (sp) at Arsenal = great title race…

Anyone else think its kind of a shame that conversations like these happen without mentioning Aguero and Atletico Madrid? Last i check, they still have Heitgina, Rodriguez, Aguero and Forlan, but they just get buried under the star power of Messi and co. and C-Ron and Battle Star Galactica. Is Van Nistolrooy even on the team anymore? They website says he is, but not listed with a number… is he still injured? I dont know where they would even find the minutes….

Anyway, just my two-cents.. And when are Blackburn going to make another title run eh? They need to pick up one of these quality strikers floating around…

I’m a huge (HUGE) fan of La Liga, and will be watching it all season long, not the EPL. BUT, I still think the EPL title race will be more exciting, partially because A. I don’t see a clear favorite and B. I think there will be a change in the top 4.

la liga will be the more interesting league, but with 4 potential teams in england compared to 2 in spain (pretty much), the premier league will have the more exciting title race

Yeah the EPL for sure. Predicting it is pretty tough this year.

Having said that, i’ll definitely be watching alot more La Liga this season, and the Real/Barca games are a must.

Both title races will be interesting but I think PL will be more interesting than La Liga because one of the so called “Big Four” will not end up amongst the top 4. In May 2010 I will refer to this comment.

There’s a lot to be lost and gained in La Liga, which is why I think that is slightly more interesting than the EPL.

Although the amount of competition in the EPL is massive. ManCity has a decent chance at breaking the top4. Everton and Villa are great teams as well.

Ligue 1……..oh wait, you are only talkin about La Liga and the Prem.

As far as title race is concerned, has to be the Prem. cause we’re not sure about Man U and eveyone else have seem to catch up a bit more in the past years.

As far as which team you would rather watch, has to be La Liga…..
