Posh Pulls the Old Sex Shop Blow-Up Doll Trick

By: Bob | May 23rd, 2007

posh-blow-up-doll.jpgYou know when you go by a bad car accident and you don’t want to look, but somehow you always do? That is the apparent strategy being employed by the producers of the upcoming reality show about the Beckhams coming to America. Faced with the realization that the subjects in the show are about as exciting as paint drying, the show’s producers are pulling out all the stops to make it interesting including sending Posh to a sex shop in LA. The result was an 18-vehicle pile up.

Mrs. Goldenballs, whose own husband has been spending quite a bit of time lately checking out his manliness, evidently spent 45 minutes looking for a good Oli K in the sex shop, which should make for some riveting television when the show airs this summer.

The hijinks didn’t end there, though.

Her security team took a blow-up doll that resembled Posh for a drive round the city before stopping at a jewelry store.

As snappers clamoured to get a shot of Mrs B, her minders opened the car door and pulled out the effigy, complete with trademark sunglasses and a blonde wig.

The newspaper story ends there, but I’ll fill you in on the rest. The show’s producers then realized that the blow-up doll was more interesting than Posh and less likely to go without a bra so they fired her on the spot and filmed the remaining episodes with the doll. Mr. Beckham reportedly didn’t notice the difference when he sat across the table having dinner with the doll.

Just from that picture you can tell the doll has more personality and is better looking than Posh Spice.
