Matt, I’m not sure oozing experience is such a good thing. Windass and Barmby are basically past it.

And while Boateng and Marlon King might be decent pickups, the likes of Geovanni and Gardner have already played in the Premier League without managing to look all that good.

Stoke finished above Hull last season, and have done just as well as Hull in terms of picking up new players. Dave Kitson and Thomas Sorensen have proved they can cut it at this level, and the likes of Salif Diao, Rory Delap and Dominic Matteo have all logged plenty of Premier League minutes. Maybe not superstars, but at least equal to Hull City’s players.

I really hope both Stoke and Hull surprise everyone and do well this year, but you have to admit it looks like an uphill battle for both teams. But it’s all just opinion, and no doubt Stoke and Hull fans respectively know more about the two teams then I do.

Holy C. How do people STILL think Stoke will finish ahead of Hull? HOW?

Name one player on Stoke….ok now that you’ve checked Wikipedia, name one of those names you know. Kitson kinda? Ricardo Fuller maybe? Anyone else? Right.

Hull oozes experience (Hughes, Windass, Barmby, Dawson, Gardner, Boateng etc etc) and has players of actual quality (Geovanni, Marlon King, Boateng, etc etc)

Explain. Please.

United is going to win it. Chelsea is a good team, but not as good as United will be.

It all depends on Berbatov. I think Spurs might not find enough goals without him, but that midfield is looking exciting. The other problem they have actually is the defence. If they can keep King and Woody fit they’ll be fine. But that’s asking quite alot.

Roughly the same as my predictions over at the EPL offside. I too think Chelsea will nick it, esp if United don’t sign Berbatov. I just don’t see where United are going to get goals unless Ronaldo has another silly season.
