To me, it looked like the ball boy actually chased and tried to push Semino (after Semino kicked the ball away), and the player then (understandably) pushed back. For this he got sent off, and though that bit of him chasing down the ball boy afterwards to vent his anger was a bit of silliness - I don't know about you, but if I'm in Chile and an angry fan rushes on to the pitch after me... suddenly punching someone doesn't seem so unreasonable.
