The big hullabaloo over the Geoff Shreeves-Branislav Ivanovic post-match interview is dying down (Champions League penalties will do that), particularly since it’s emerged Geoff was actually doing him a service – Ivanovic apparently didn’t know he was suspended.
“I didn’t expect him to book me for that and I didn’t know I was in the danger zone.”
