Quote of the Year Contender: Joan Laporta Doesn’t Do Cars.

If you recall, Joan Laporta had a tough summer. There was a vote to have him ousted as king of Barcadom after what seemed to be a disappointing summer marker, one which he won by the thinnest of thin margins. So this season must put a bit of wind in his sail to say the least.

Still doesn’t make him the brightest bulb in the box.

“[When I started at Barcelona] in 2003, it was a car with three wheels: sporting, economic and social. Now it is a Formula One car with five wheels.”

What? Do Formula One cars carry a spare?
