Rangers Bounced From Europe, Masses Rejoice.
By: chris | August 5th, 2008Safe to say Celtic acquired an amazing number of new fans after we were subjected to a Scottish tribute to anti-football during last year’s Champions League and UEFA Cup campaigns. One could find giant pink diamonds easier than an attack at the Ibrox, and to make matters worse they made it all the way to the UEFA Cup final.
Well, ladies and gents, there’s no more miserable bitch than karma, and she struck back in glorious fashion today through…wait for it….Lithuanian club Kaunas. (Lithuania!) After a goalless stalemate in Glasgow, Kaunas stunned them back home today with a 2-1 victory, the death blow coming a cruel and just three minutes from time. Kaunas will now probably face Aalborg (Danish) in the third qualifying round for the opportunity to get steamrolled in the group stages.

By the way…way to read those little flags next to the names Hun, you might notice Chris having a different one than me. At least you won’t have an excuse to riot this year, as you won’t have screens to malfunction that were supposed to show a European game right?

Chris, the season after Celtic were in the UEFA cup final the team narrowly (Lyon scored with 2mins left in final game) missed out on the last 16 of the CL but went into the Uefa cup were they put out Barcelona before being knocked out in the quarters by Villarreal.
Trueblue, while I abhor the type of language used by the first poster, you come across as even more of an immature, illiterate, inbred, idiot but I guess you’ve been told that before

You bunch of idiots. First of all, Rangers did not reach the UEFA Cup final through fluke, they got there because they had Cuellar, at least they had Ferguson, and Davis, and players that could do something. Right now, Rangers are lacking that, they brought in 3 strikers (bad mistake) and instead of improving the midfield, they are being made to pay the price for it.
Your team won the league because of a fixture congestion, don’t you ever forget that 2nd best team Celtic, don’t you ever forget that. You’d never repeat NEVER!!!!!!!!!! have won the league if Rangers got knocked out early of that UEFA Cup last season. Enjoy that for a dose of truth.
And all it takes is a couple of midfielders to be brought in and there will be a big difference. Stoop to our level? you don’t see me calling you out sectarian names, thanks for proving though what sectarian filth you are, it’s almost laughable that you call Rangers sectarian when your club is by far more sectarian than Rangers. How does that make you feel?
On another note, Rangers were poor, have been poor, deserve to go out, they lack creativity middle of the park, the injuries are now showing it and the team isn’t quite together since that. And when you don’t have a midfield, there’s nothing in the world can save you. Which is why he should’ve bought Davis a LONG time ago.

Yes Sam and much respect to your post with a big Union Jack under it.

And you can talk about how far you went in the champions league all you like matt, and for how many years? a don’t actually care, a care about the league however, and you bang off to me?
Lets remind you how many league cups you have
13
we just won our 25th, what would you do if Rangers for the next 5 years won the league cup, and Scottish cup? you’d be left behind in those competitions, and a wouldn’t go shouting yer mouth off about the league title, you know if Rangers bring in midfielders, then a could see a vast improvement, so much so a’d see us taking the title for not the 43rd time pal, 52nd.Posted from

Scott your inane ramblings are quite funny. To start banging on about the amount of league cups rankers have one is absolutely hillarious. So you’re certain rankers would have lifted the title if they weren’t in the uefa cup; does this mean Celtic should have been champions in 2003? As for your 51 titles, well I’d rather have 42 and a CHAMPIONS cup safely in the locker.
p.s If you’re looking for evidence of sectarianism look no further than the delightful true blues post.
Question: Who is the only club in the history of world football to be charged and convicted of sectarianism….?
How’s that for a dose of truth.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Looks like I got all the stupid bluenoses worked up… Enjoy concentrating on the league this year Scott. Other than creaming your panties every time Nacho changes her hair it will be the only excitement you will have this year. HAHAHAHA. Losing to a team from the east bloc. Killer. HAhAha. I thought I was done then i started laughing again. HAHHAHAHAHAHA!

Mikey. There is clear evidence that celtic are a sectarian club aswell..u r daft if u deny that. celtic football club, still the only club British, thats “british” club, actually not just that the only club in the world to have their ground “ceptic park” closed down due to NAZI CHANTING!!!
Rangers are the better side in Glasgow. We may be performing bad right now but look at 2004-2005, when we won the league under mcleish, in my opinion he was a pretty crap manager.but, did you know for example that mcleish infact won more at rangers than Martin O’neill did at celtic HAHAHAHAHAHAHA and he was one of your best managers.
I’ll beat you in any rangers celtic arguement you moronic bastard.

Nazi chanting? Aye right, but it’s just a “Red Hand Salute”, right? How about having to be the only team to have to clear out your supporters to receive a European Award. Dignity, right? Good thing there weren’t any big screens in Barcelona or who knows what might have happened. Speaking of Barcelona, how does it feel to be told by one of Europe’s most metropolitan city to NEVER COME BACK! With such attacking options as Kenny Miller, it’s no wonder you feel so confident. While it’s cute of you to put on such a brave face, it’s obvious the rest of the “blue noses” don’t quite share your optimism. Look at the meltdown that is Follow Follow now…talks of not going to games, etc. Ranger Loyal eh?
As far as your 51 titles, it’s cute when you include the ones you shared with Celtic too. Not to mention it makes sense a club founded earlier than Celtic might have more titles. But with Wattie at the helm, we’ll catch up. One star is more important than five anyway. That is something you will never have. “Is it cold in his shadow?” Do you have a joke about child abuse for us hunnethy? When in doubt, that’s what your lot resort to.

Don’t forget “Nakamura ate my dog” “Voodoo No Worky” and “Why don’t you go home,” Seattlebhoy. After all, one cannot be a True Blue without making xenophobic remarks!
Oh the dignity.

Ok SeattleBhoy, couple of points here.
“As far as your 51 titles, it’s cute when you include the ones you shared with Celtic too. Not to mention it makes sense a club founded earlier than Celtic might have more titles.”
Rangers have never shared a title with Celtic, the only time the teams have finished level was in 1905. Celtic won the play-off 2-1. Rangers don’t count that as one of the 51.
As for your other statement “Not to mention it makes sense a club founded earlier than Celtic might have more titles.” Total Junk. Rangers were founded before Celtic but both teams were in existence and were indeed founder members when the league started in 1891.
In fact by 1910 Celtic were ahead 10 to 5 in titles. So Rangers are the team that have come from behind to dominate Scottish football.Timmy and facts don’t go.

Nice of you to ignore his points of the Follow Follow meltdown, both Barca incidents, and of course, that lovely big star above the Celtic crest that you’ll never have.

Matt,
All I was doing was pointing out a couple of blatant mistakes (or lies) in SeattleBhoys post. I’m not one for getting into arguments about our fans are better than your fans etc.
Both sets of fans have had their good and bad times, I don’t see the point of going at it tit for tat.
Remember Celtic were forced to replay a European tie 200 miles away from parkhead because of the behavior of your fans. I could list loads more instances and I’m sure you could too, but what’s the point.Posted from

Fair enough chris. One point not about the fans is the beautiful beautiful star.

Well done SeattleBhoy I see you finally got a fact right QOS are still in Europe, and I for one will be supporting them and every other British club in Europe this season.
A nice bit of name calling from you, but that’s to be expected.

I was so happy to see what can only be called epic failure the sequel.
I know it has been pointed out a few times already but hey, one star earned is way better then 5 stars invented…

Yeah, Celtic’s taking the league title last year couldn’t have had anything to do with the head-to-head wins vs. Rangers, could it? The last time Rangers won vs. Celtic last season all you could hear was how poor Gordon could never measure up to Walter Smith (if you don’t agree with theories of biased officiating, at least). Lastly, maybe you have more of a case w/r/t fixture congestion if your team hadn’t had a game with Gretna moved earlier on.
