Ronaldo to Appear in an Episode of The Simpsons
By: Bob | April 10th, 2007
Break out the doughnuts and the Duff beer. Ronaldo is scheduled to appear in an episode of The Simpsons that will air on April 22. The Rotund One will not be giving Homer dieting advice, but apparently he will be teaching Lisa Simpson how to play soccer (if my Italian translation skills are correct).
I remember reading about this back in the fall while the show was being made. Apparently the creators of The Simpsons are doing it in part to appease people in Brazil who are upset about an episode a couple years ago when the family went to the country and experienced all kinds of crimes that reflected poorly on the country. If they include some of Ronaldo’s girlfriends in the episode I think a diplomatic crisis will be averted.
You probably have seen this a few times, but here is an episode where the Simpsons go to a soccer match. It was just like that Mexico-Portugal tilt at the 2006 World Cup.
And if the Good vs. Evil table football isn’t nifty enough for you, you can get a foosball table with characters from The Simpsons.

That never stops being funny.
“You punched out 3 people on the way over here!”
“That was over soccer results. Can you believe they gave Giggs a yellow card in the box?”
“Do you have any idea what you just said?”Posted from

This is freakin’ hysterical. (But not quite as funny as that Brazil one.)
