Samuel Eto’o: Goalscorer. Champion. Icon. Stadium Steward.

Samuel Eto’o is the same guy whose former agent once accused the Indomitable Lion of threatening him with death (by taking his shoes off). Basically this means: when Samuel says to do something, you do it.

Jimmy Jump, a well know Barca supporter and pitch invader (also the guy who infamously gave Titi Henry a Barca jersey while he was still at Arsenal – below), used to enjoy a cordial relationship with Samuel. Well not when Barca is losing and they’ve got business to take care of. So when Jimmy enters the pitch, Samuel doesn’t wait for security, he handles the matter all by himself. An all around player, this guy.

Oh, and if you feel like staying for the game it was a good one. Racing led until the hour mark or so when Lionel Messi came on. Final score: Messi 2 – Racing 1.

Maradona’s going to get a run for his Argentinean money from this kid.

Jimmy Jump & Titi, sittin’ in a tree:

If anybody’s searching for Jimmy and Sammy, it’s at about the 5:20 mark.

Oh, and P.S. I’ve noticed that security is a lot quicker to tackle pitch invaders when they’re wearing clothes.

Thanks for that Laurie. I read and reread the post looking for the time since it’s an 8 minute long clip.

I remember one of you (was it Daryl?) posted a video of a pitch invasion, resulting in one of the players violently tripping the invader. He got sent off.

    When was that?
