Save Scarborough F.C.
By: Bob | December 1st, 2006Chances are you aren’t a fan of the English North Conference club Scarborough F.C. But if you are a fan of football, take a minute to sign this online petition. The basic gist of the story is the Scarborough, a club that was founded all the way back in 1879, is in danger of going out of business unless the Borough Council agrees to let the club sell its stadium and build a new one. Your signature on the petition can demonstrate support for a historic club and for lower level football in general.
For those old enough to remember, Scarborough F.C. won the FA trophy three times back in the 1970s. They also happen to be the team that was on the losing end of the greatest goalkeeper goal of all time. It would be a shame to see the club fall by the wayside.

Job done.
I will be posting the same link on my blog… We in Salt Lake are experiencing a stadium and political issue that is also threatening the existence of our new club. I am sure alot of RSL fans will be able to relate to the situation and willing to do what they can.
Good Luck.
