Sheffield Wednesday Keeper Mark Crossley Scores the Equalizer in Injury Time

crossley.jpgIt is easy to marvel at Chelsea’s Didier Drogba as he continues to tear up the English Premier League, but around here we like to celebrate less predictable achievements by players like Sheffield Wednesday keeper Mark Crossley. The 37-year-old Welsh international has never been confused with other goal scoring keeper machines and he had never experienced the wonder of Glass before this past weekend.

With his team trailing Southampton 3-2 in injury time, Crossley went forward for one last gasp corner kick and you can see how things turned out in the video below.
