Shevchenko stays home in the Batcave

So we know that Chelsea Andriy Shevchenko will not be playing in today’s Champions League semifinal match against Liverpool. We also know there are conflicting reports about why he has stayed behind in London while the rest of his teammates do battle at Anfield. Some say that it stems from a dispute with his manager. Sheva and the team say that he is merely injured. A third alternative explanation is that he has stayed home to work on his Batcave.
When you live in a city where parking is hard to come by like London and you have a fleet of high priced automobiles, the only thing that can really be done is to build a £1million underground “Batcave”. That is exactly what Shevchenko is doing.
At the touch of a button on an electronic keypad, the £30million Ukrainian international, who earns £120,000 a week, will be able to raise or lower the vehicles by remote control from the underground car park on hydraulic ramps.
Sheva, as he is known to his legion of fans, has asked his local council for planning permission to build the high-tech six-car garage.
Among others, it will be home to his £130,000 Bentley Continental GT Turbo, £60,000 Mercedes four-wheel drive and £110,000 Ferrari F360. Each will be housed in cages, which are mechanically shuffled around the basement area.
Sounds like quite the setup. If Sheva is ever in need of some extra change he could always rent out a couple spaces to his Premiership auto loving friends.
