Silvio Spann Scores from a Very Long Way Away

By: Daryl | June 9th, 2007

Drop your jaw and rub your eyes in preparation for Silvio Spann’s free kick for Trinidad & Tobago, which flew in from over 40 yards away. Spann currently plays for TnT side W Connection, but (according to my sources) he’s previously played for Perugia and Sambenedettese in Italy, Yokohama FC in Japan, and only missed out on a move to England due to work permit problems.

TnT still lost their Gold Cup match 2-1 to El Salvador, so maybe there should be a new rule where ridiculously good goals count double.

You mean like in MISL where goals are 2 points unless you shoot them from behind the 3-point line? Uh, no thanks.
