Sing it: Luciano Emilio named 2007 MLS MVP

By: Bob | November 15th, 2007

It is time for Luciano Emilio to update his resume. The Brazilian striker has been named the most valuable player for the 2007 MLS season. The league’s leading scorer on the league’s best team during the regular season, Emilio becomes the third DC United player to win the award. Voters were undoubtedly swayed by his singing skills. Loyal readers (and those with nothing else to do while they avoid putting together spreadsheets) are probably curious to see the rest of the awards and how they compare with what we predicted a few weeks ago.
