Site News: A New and Improved World Cup Blog

By: Bob | October 3rd, 2007

world-cup-blog-logo.gifBack in the dark ages before we brought love and harmony to the world by starting The Offside, we had a blast running a site called World Cup Blog which chronicled the 32 teams in the 2006 World Cup. The site is still very much alive and as we start preparing for the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup – South America and Asia kicks things off next week – we figured it was about time we get the site geared up for all the actions. In addition to a much needed facelift and technical upgrade, we now have the capacity to have blog about every national team in the world. We just need writers to captain them. So if you are a huge fan of Ireland, Romania, Papua New Guinea or any other team in the world, and you’d like to blog about your team, get in touch.

Thanks as always for stopping on by.

  • We've added links to headlines from The Offside under the 'More' tab on World Cup Blog. Links going the other way are, as Bob said, in the works.

Increased linkage is in the works.
  • Bob, are you ever going to link the two sites?
