Slaven Bilić Rules

Not only was Slaven Bilić a great footballer, but he’s also turned out, at the tender age of 39, to be fantastic manager as well, leading the Croats (They beat England. Did you hear?) into Euro 2008 in his first stint in charge of any senior team.

He also, however, has hidden talents — skills he can’t use on the football pitch, or even on the touchline. First of all, according to Wikipedia (which is never wrong), he’s got a law degree. How he found time to get that I have no idea, but it’s online so it must be true. Far more importantly, though, the man knows how to ROCK.

He’s in a metal band called Rawbau who make “healing & religious, easy listening, alternative” music and, honestly, aren’t half bad. He’s also got what has to be the best fake (and possibly only) Bebo page ever, one on which his affection for operating heavy machinery and “complicated” relationship status are noted. Top that, Jose Mourinho!
