Soccer Streaker Strips for Playboy

Remember Tiffany May? She was the red, white and blue “streaker” at the USA vs Honduras U-23 match not so long ago. I say “streaker” because Tiffany was actually still wearing underwear as she ran across the pitch (which is actually an impressive feat: all the kudos of streaking, but none of the public nakedness.)

Now news reaches our keyboards that Tiffany will be taking all her clothes off for Playboy magazine, who’ve put together this (literally) teaser trailer to celebrate the occasion:

This should be a lot sexier. But for some reason this video reminds me of a reality TV runner-up opening a grocery store. That she’s wearing the same outfit in the video as when she made that adrenaline fueled run across the pitch sort of ruins the spontaneity of the original event for me.

But Tiffany’s probably made a tidy profit for baring all under the Bunny logo. As The Offside Rules points out, she “may make more money doing that than a few US soccer players will make this year.”

So you could argue that Tiffany May has a better head for business then Sunil Gulati. In which case, maybe he should listen to Tiffany’s suggestion for increasing attendances: “Maybe if there were more girls like me streaking at soccer games, we’d have a lot more fans.”
