I was going to work the Barthez blunder into the mix but figured I would give Sam on the France Offside first dibs. It is also worth noting that things are really heating up in in the Dutch league. Alas, I can't cover it all but do my best. Cheers

Laurie, let’s not forget that not only did Lyon get spanked, but second-place Lens got beaten too, and by a borderline relegation side. France was pretty interesting this week overall, which is saying something coming from me – I’m not a French football fan by any means.
