Stealing the Referee’s Red Card will get you in Trouble

The idea probably seemed pretty good to the Portugal U-20 player Zequinha at the time. Instead of letting his teammate Mano receive a red card, he would simply take the red card from the ref. No card, no sending off, right? If only life followed such logic. Zequinha was also sent to the showers early. Referees are so selfish when it comes to sharing their toys.
