Steau Bucharest will only play Happy Music and Happy Players

In the eternal battle between religious hymns and butt rock, score another victory for the music of the big guy (or gal) above. Gigi Becali, the owner of the Romanian club Steaua Bucharest and a certifiable nutter on many levels, has declared that his club’s stadium will be replacing songs like ‘We will rock you’ with songs like ‘We three kings’.
In an effort to cut down on fan violence and to make his fiefdom a happier place, Becali is banishing the devil.
“(I will play) only religious songs before the matches, because I’m the one who pays and this is the way I like it,” Becali told reporters on Wednesday.
“I will take out the song …. ‘We will rock you’. Why play that song? So the players kill each other?
“Whoever wants (to hear) devil’s music should not come to my stadium.”
Becali is also instituting a new rule for the team that includes fines for sad faces if players appear upset when they are taken out of games or presumably if they cry while listening to the new music.
For those who are unfamiliar with Becali, he got in hot water back in 2005 when he sang a song that included racial slurs against Gypsies. Makes you wonder if that one will be played at the stadium. The same year he also allegedly commissioned a painting inspired by the Last Supper. He is, of course, Jesus, while his players and coaches are the disciples. Interesting man, he is.

Could you imagine if Cristiano Ronaldo played for Steaua? At the end of the season he would end up owing them millions just for his pouty looks.

what you did not know,or failed to mention is that in that same interview that he anounced his new rules he mansioned something about not liking queen becose its a gay music.”i don’t have nothing against gay people.let them bumb (babardeasca is the exact word) eachother.they like queen,he was one of them.aldo i liked that song we are the champions.
is funny,becose you mentioned something about jews and did not say anything about homosexuals.i’m not a big fan of them my self,but i’m tired with the stupid mistakes becali makes.up there it seems funny for you,but we live with him every day up here.he’s everywere,on the tv,the papers ,radio.he thinks that he will become president,and what is worst,he’s second in the romanian peoples choice.
