Steve Nash chose the wrong sport
By: Bob | November 1st, 2007There’s been a lot of hubbub the past few days about Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash’s interest in buying his favorite club Tottenham someday. I don’t see it happening. He makes bank, but not that kind of bank. Instead of concentrating on being an owner, perhaps he should consider trying out for the Spurs’ midfield. If he can school players in a Nike commercial, surely he could do the same in the Premier League. Or even better. He could play in both the NBA and MLS. Their seasons only overlap a little bit.

Levy vs. Nash
Better Chairman: Probably Nash
Better Point Guard: Definitely Nash
Nicer Guy: Nash by a country mileBut Levy would totally win a baby eating contest between the two.

Every time the Whitecaps are on TV (OK, not very often, but still), we have to hear about how “Caps midfielder Martin Nash is the brother of NBA superstar Steve Nash, who did you know also played soccer?”

I love how when someone ‘famous’ played soccer they talk about it like he had 3 arms or something.
Did you know that STEVE NASH played soccer???
I’m sure the Mavericks were happy seeing some guys go at his legs like that.
