I also posted about this on The Run of Play today. One of the funniest things I found in reading up on the background of the tackle is that afterward, there was a small but passionate call for the mascot to be banned from future matches because the force he used was “excessive and unsafe.” Won’t someone please think of the children?

Also, if you look closely at the streaker’s backside (and really, why wouldn’t you?), you can see that he’s written “2-0″ across his cheeks to commemorate the score of the match. Almost better than the video itself is the thought of him trying to talk a friend into escorting him to the bathroom with a Sharpie. Or, I don’t know, somehow writing it on there himself.
