MLS IS boring because the way the season is set up, the regular season matches mean nothing. Teams can do just enough to make the playoffs and then go on a 4 or 5 game tear and win the MLS Cup. I don't think the league is set up properly to accommodate for foreign teams to be a part of this competition in a fair fashion. SuperLiga is a great idea but other things need to be tweaked in order for it to be 100% fair for all sides entering in this competition. Including the referreeing. Having lived the majority of my life in the United States, I've observed one thing about the Mexican teams and their fans. They will cling to any mistake that's out of their control to blame for losing a match. They never lose with dignity, it's always a bad call/ref, the fact that they are playing these matches as visitors or a vital but injured/missing player wasn't part of their line up. And the worst part is that the brainwashing starts at the top. Media outlets start with the excuses almost immediately after a loss sometimes during the match they begin opening their umbrellas.
