Swedish Female Footy Fans: We Want To Take Our Tops Off

tmpphpailh8j.jpgFresh in the wake of the story that porn magnates are busy buying up Swedish football teams, a group of female activists from the south of Sweden are taking things a step further. They’ve established a group called Bara Bröst, meaning ‘Bare Breasts’ or ‘Just Breasts’ (which I’m sure most could have figured out). Their goal: To desexualize the female breastesses. Why?

“We want our breasts to be as ‘normal’ and desexualized as men’s, so that we too can pull off our shirts at football matches,” spokeswomen Astrid Hellroth och Liv Ambjörnsson told Ottar.

Millions, maybe billions, of teenaged dreams just came true.

I’m pretty sure this wasn’t adequately thought through, as the last place you might want to start a movement aimed at dethroning King Testosterone is at a football match, but I could be entirely wrong. Either way, it’s a goal, and what would life be without goals?

I’m fully in favor of women being able to show their breasts at sporting events provided there is some sort of screening process beforehand. And of course, the same goes for the men, as well. Not to, um, discriminate based on beauty or anything here, but the last thing I want to see when I’m trying to watch the beautiful game is something which is as far from beautiful as it gets. Basically, if you look like Peter Griffin, male or female, clothes are not optional, they’re mandatory. Same goes for Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. They might be a bit low, but at least they’re standards.

Oh, and numero uno on that banned list is this guy:

And we do know The Establishment is on board, as Sepp Blatter is always on board with females wearing less clothing.

Now, the full article on topless females in Sweden is right here for those looking to delve a little further into the pressing political and cultural issue. (And to save most of you an unnecessary click – no pictures.)
