Yep a player is offside when his teammate touches the ball and any part of his body (except the hands/arms) is closer to the endline than the 2nd to last defender. So he's not just a little off, his whole BODY is off. Good call with the header, that's exactly when the ref is supposed to judge those things. Always remember it says touched or played, it can even be accidental.

Referees and linesmen fall like that because they usually are not expecting to be pushed and are caught off balance. It does make for good comedy though.

Perfectly executed commando roll by the linesman after he went down. Jack Bauer would be proud.

He was offside, (the ball wasnt kicked, it was headered), the angle of the camera doesnt help. But if we were in line with the ball, Sahar was offside. The video stops the clip when the ball leaves the attackers head.... not when the ball reaches Sahar.

Did you even watch the video?

Why is it that linesman and refs always fall like a giraffe down stairs? I mean FIFA fitness reqs suggest that they are individuals of certain age and fitness and therefore reasonably athletic and co-ordinated. But every time they go down they're stumbling and get up off the ground like they're 90 years old. The ref that diCanio pushed is a perfect example.
