As to these fine men, thank you from the aged amongst us. I have missed terribly having Roberto Carlos on a team I could watch every weekend. The greatest left back, and possibly the sweetest man...in any field! And this blog should have a shrine to Pippo. Making a career of life on the offside (or on its edge anyway). I would pick him for the rest of his life for the most exquisitely heartfelt expressions of agony each time he sees the flag. No one else comes close. Plus he scores.
