Progressive he’s not, but the dude can flat out play. The thing is about him saying that Arsenal need more players like him is that, in at least one way, it’s absolutely true–he has a ruthlessness to the way he plays that Arsenal have lacked since Henry and Vieira left. Now one could argue (should argue, really, since it’s blatant) that what Arsenal need are more and better defenders, but Arsenal’s failure to progress is as much mental as anything.

He’s hilarious and a character all right, but as a woman I despise some of his comments and I can’t even tell if he’s joking (note – to pull off sexist comments, they have to be at least witty or funny). Wenger needs to tell him to watch his words more carefully.
